Spring Fling

Love is in the air... and in the water! Frogs and toads all over Gulf Breeze are singing for a mate in the evenings, producing a deafening symphony of courtship after the sun goes down. This lucky guy and his sweetheart were busy making more frogs this past weekend in a half-drained pool which is waiting for repair. The strings of eggs are seen trailing below them into the depths of the algae-rich water.

  1. Ribbet, ribbet. Nice photo. I have always loved amphibians sice I was a boy.

  2. Looks like they're having fun! We have a huge pond in our part of the world and I can't believe how loud those frogs are in the spring. Nice shot!

  3. Great photo.. it must be spring.. This morning I saw two anole lizards doing the same and ran for my camera but the love session was over by the time I got back.. Nice that you captured the moment. Great shot.
